We think they came in from the window because we found footprints and sparkles as evidence...
There was also a note {in not so good handwriting} telling us that they came for a party but no one was in the classroom. Oh well. We hate that we missed them but we sure are grateful for the cookies, green leprechaun juice, and shamrock pencils that were left behind!
In addition to our tasty green snack, we enjoyed playing Lucky Gingers, Shamrock Subtraction, and Sunny Day's Rainbow Bump games. Make sure to grab your copy of all 3 free games!
We were running short on time so we ended up combining A Cupcake for The Teacher's Leapin' Leprechaun Craftivity and The Teacher Wife's free Worth More Than Gold writing activity. I think the combination turned out quite cute!
Some of my kiddos took the writing activity very seriously! I loved reading their heartfelt sentences about who is worth more than gold to them!
All in all, another great day! :)

In case you missed it, make sure that you stop by Mrs. Miner's Kindergarten Monkey Business today to see my guest post on math tubs. There are also 4 freebies posted there for you! Thanks, Krissy, for letting me share on your fabulous blog!

I didn't think 2nd graders would really be into the whole leprechaun thing still but they were fascinated by it! Gotta love the little ones! :)
