A Collection of Poems for the Whole Year (FREE!)

One of my favorite things to teach is poetry.  I love connecting it to our units- especially science and math!  One of the first things I ever created was a pack of poems that can be used throughout the year.  I originally created it for my very first 1st grade class but have used the poems in kindergarten and 2nd grade as well.  I did not write any of these poems but I did create the simple activities to go with them.  :)
I've included 41 poems in the collection.  Here are images of 4 of the poems:

Nothing fancy!  All 41 poems are simple but fun to learn!
Click on one of the images above or {here} to download the collection for free!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I have!

  7. Thank you so much for sharing these little poems! I like to write little poems and chants, too. I teach ESL kiddos (PreK - 2nd) and these kind of little poems really help them comprehend their lessons. Muchas gracias!
