2D Shapes Play-dough Mats Freebie & Weekly Plans

This week's planning is done!  Thank you so much to everyone who left such sweet comments about my plans last week.  I'll do my best to post them each week.  It helps me stay organized and I am so glad it is helping other people plan too! :)

This week we will start recognizing and composing shapes.  I whipped up some easy peasy play-dough mats to help with the composing part.  I'm also hoping it helps with learning how many sides each shape has....and serves as a fine motor practice at the same time.

P.S.- It is no coincidence that the frame for these mats are plaid.  Our story this week is Plaidypus Lost. Wink. Wink.

or from the link on the weekly plans.

Here is a peek at my week!  I'm still introducing stations so most of the station activities are the same as last week.  I always forget how long it takes to get the hang of it!  You can click on either picture to download or view the plans in a Google Doc.  If you save the file, you will be able to click on each of the links/pictures to grab that particular freebie or product.

Have a great week!

  4. I love the way your lesson plans look. Could I ask what you use to do them? Is it a google docs creation or numbers or excel? I would love to do mine the same way!
