Armadillo's Orange Positional Words {FREE}

I meant to share some pictures from our apple week earlier but then I got busy creating a little something for next week.  I'd love to share it with you!

You have probably realized by now that my district uses Reading Street.  Next week we will be covering one of my favorite stories, Armadillo's Orange.  I love how you can bring in so many skills with this book.  I will be reviewing and assessing my students on positional words next week so I thought I would work a little practice up that revolves around our story.

My thoughts are that you can combine it together like a book or use the pages separately as posters for positional words.  You could even use them for retelling or sequencing the story.  Click on the cover page image to download a copy.
If you haven't read the book before, I highly recommend it.  Check out the link below to look inside the book on Amazon.

 I'll be back tomorrow with my visual plans for next week and hopefully some apple recap! :)

  2. Omigoodness! This is THE cutest positional word poster set I have ever seen. Now, this may be because we are in Florida and usually, the only armadillo books we see are Texas based. But, you've broken my heart because we don't use Reading Street. We use Journeys and this is not a story we'll get to know unless I buy the book. Checking out all the regular sources and the book is out of print but available for $50+ through independent sellers. I do a huge Florida unit at the end of kindergarten. Now, I'm going to be on a mission to find this book. Thanks for sharing this cute product.
